Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker (“BerryDunn”) Data Breach Investigation

Reliable Networks of Maine is a service provider for BerryDunn, specifically BerryDunn’s “Health Analytics Practice Group (“Group”).” Between September 12 and September 14, 2023, an unauthorized actor accessed and took BerryDunn Health Analytics Practice Group data. Due to the breach, 1,107,354 individuals had their personally identifiable information (“PII”) and protected health information (“PHI”) compromised. The “PII” and “PHI” included Name; Address; Social Security Number Information; Date of Birth; Driver’s License number; Government-issued ID number (e.g. passport, state ID card);Medical Information; and Health Insurance Information. BerryDunn recently notified individuals whose “PII” and “PHI” was compromised by sending a breach notification letter in April, 2024.
